This year’s PROMs UK 2024 will be hosted by Exeter Medical School at the University of Exeter. The event is planned for June 20th, and once again we will be having a stand, to give us a chance to meet delegates, and form and strengthen relationships in the field of PROMs. 

An organisation committed to accelerating the development of drugs has a new recruit on board. We are pleased to announce we have become members of the Critical Path Institute’s eCOA Consortium. The mission of the Critical Path Institute (C-Path) is to lead collaborations that accelerate drug development, advancing better treatments for people worldwide.

A novel comprehensive testing approach for the diagnosis of urinary tract infections (UTI) has been developed by the team at Digital Microbiology in the UK.

A new Patient-Reported Outcome (PRO) measure (or PROM), which aims to prioritise the patient of recurrent urinary tract infection (rUTI) symptom and pain experiences, has passed further validation testing with flying colours. This measure is now available to license via InSpired Health Outcomes.

The team at InSpired Health Outcomes has recently acquired the rights to manage two new Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROs, or PROMs) for evaluating recurrent urinary tract infection (rUTI): the Recurrent UTI Symptom Scale (RUTISS) and the Recurrent UTI Impact Questionnaire (RUTIIQ).
