Witney MP officially opens InSpired Health Outcomes new office
We were thrilled to have Witney MP Charlie Maynard officially open our new office in the town’s Hexagon Business Centre, bringing a growing HEOR - health economics and outcomes research – business to West Oxfordshire.
Charlie Said: “I am pleased to open IHO’s offices here in Witney. I look forward to working closely with IHO as the Government bring in the new, 10 Year Health Plan and being as useful as I can to IHO within Parliament.”
David and the IHO team been working remotely, so the move to Witney marks a new chapter for the business. The relocation was part-funded by a £5,000 grant from the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, via West Oxfordshire District Council.
“The relocation is all part of our plan to bring global HEOR activity to West Oxfordshire,” said founder and Managing Director Dr. David Churchman. “Oxfordshire is a growing centre of excellence for this sector and IHO is steeped in the expertise of researchers at the University of Oxford.
“We’re very grateful to our MP Charlie Maynard for officially opening our offices, and also for the interest he clearly took in what we are doing. He asked searching questions about how our work fits within the NHS and industry. The new 10 Year Health Plan for the NHS, launched in the summer, references the growing importance of patient reported outcomes, so this area of healthcare continues to gather momentum.”
IHO is preparing for further growth later in the year, with the launch of an associated brand, to offer additional services to pharmaceutical companies, researchers, medical device companies, and healthcare providers which use the patient’s voice to evaluate the impact of treatments and improve healthcare pathways.
